“Conquering our Arch Nemesis…”
Ok 3rd time’s the charm… Today we summited Mt. Sherman. Mike was guiding a couple and their son so we pretty much had to make. But it was a bluebird day, perfect conditions, warm, not cloud in the sky… it was beautiful! Stacey, Phil, Nathan had arranged a private historical tour with Breckenridge Heritage Alliance earlier in the week and Mike started talking to them about us possibly trying to make a summit attempt of Mt. Sherman later in the week and they said that they would be interested in going with us. So we picked a day and told them what kind of gear they needed and what gear we had that they could use then we were all set.
The day went off without a hitch, I mean it was pretty much uneventful really. I was actually amazed with a child along… I just knew that there could be all sorts of complications. But this kid is not you normal kid. He was great and everybody had a really great time as you can see from the video. I think it pretty much tells the story of the day!
